Wellness is for All Ages!
TWKids is a growing Tawas Wellness initiative dedicated to providing fun, affordable, and engaging wellness opportunities for local youth under 18. Through seasonal programs, fitness classes, outdoor adventures, and community partnerships, we help kids build healthy habits, confidence, friendships, and life skills.
Our programs support the four primary dimensions of wellness that guide Tawas Wellness: Physical, Emotional, Social, and Educational.
Building a Stronger Future
From Nature Club to Kids FitCamp to Teen THRIVE, we're committed to creating more opportunities for local youth to learn, grow, and thrive.
As funding, facilitators, and volunteers become available, we'll continue expanding TWKids programming and building partnerships that make youth wellness accessible to more families throughout Iosco County.
A special thank-you to the Iosco County Community Foundation, Quota Club, MyMI, and Cooper Charitable Fund for their generous support of TWKids and their investment in the health and well-being of our community's youth.
Healthy Kids. Strong Communities. Bright Futures.
*Tawas Wellness is not a registered Childcare facility. All TWKids facilitators and volunteers have previous teaching and/or childcare experience and have had recent background checks. An event-specific waiver and optional photo release are required before releasing your child into our care.
🍂 Fall & Winter Nature Club
Adventure doesn't stop when summer ends! Our seasonal Nature Club encourages kids to explore the outdoors, connect with nature, and discover the wonders of Northeast Michigan through hands-on learning, outdoor activities, and seasonal adventures. We're excited to continue expanding these opportunities through local partnerships.
