Welcome to Tawas Wellness, a 501(c)(3) organization that promotes the personal development of the residents of Iosco County.
We do this by offering daily fitness classes, wellness workshops, community meals, volunteer opportunities, youth and senior programs, and so much more!

Our History: Tawas Wellness Warriors (TWW) started in 2020 as a weekly 5K run/walk to promote fitness and community during the COVID-19 pandemic. This meetup quickly expanded into our 3 FREE WEEKLY FITNESS CLASSES!
In 2022, we became Tawas Wellness, a 501(c)3 nonprofit, offering our Wellness Warriors even more affordable wellness opportunities!

In 2024, our programming and offices have moved at our new location, The Collective, at 821 Newman St. East Tawas, MI. The Collective, by Tawas Wellness hosts all of our classes, fundraisers, and supports the community as an affordable gathering space.

Our Vision: Our vision is to cultivate a vibrant, empowered, and sustainable community where individuals thrive and flourish in every aspect of their lives. We envision a space where individuals of all ages and backgrounds come together to nurture their physical, emotional, and spiritual well-being.​
Our Causes: To combat the ever-increasing rates of heart disease, diabetes, childhood obesity, teen anxiety and depression, senior loneliness and mobility loss that plague Iosco County residents. ​​​​​
Our Mission: to enhance the overall well-being of Iosco County residents by providing accessible and affordable wellness programs, services, and resources.​​​​​​
